Dwyer Heritage Restorations specialises in the restoration of heritage timber windows and doors, including leadlight windows.
Our staff have been restoring timber window frames, sashes and sills for over 30 years. We have completed many commercial and residential projects over the years.
Our general procedure is to remove sashes from the frames, fix any damaged elements of the frame (generally only the sills need attention), sashes will be inspected for loose joints, dry rot, broken glazing and missing glazing putty, once repairs are completed sashes will be sanded and fitted back into frames in full working order ready to be painted by others, any missing or broken hardware will be replaced with second hand or new to match current hardware or as close as possible.
